Production Operative – Raw Turkey Production

Location: Derby, DE65
Working Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 6:00am – 3:00pm
Transport: Own transport essential due to the location

We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy food production team based in Derby, DE65.

As a Production Operative, you will play an important role in producing and preparing raw turkey products to high-quality standards, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced food production environment, ideal for individuals who are reliable, hardworking and comfortable with manual work.

Key Responsibilities

• Packing and bagging raw turkey portions.
• Weighing products and printing accurate labels.
• Moving raw products and ingredients from storage to production lines.
• Weighing, labelling and sealing products ready for despatch.
• Carrying out manual handling duties, including lifting products and equipment weighing up to 20kg.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
• Ensuring products meet quality standards for temperature, grading, wrapping and presentation.
• Supporting equipment set-up and production line changeovers to minimise downtime.

Requirements

• A reliable and hardworking attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Comfortable with manual handling and lifting up to 20kg.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to follow food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures.
• Must have your own transport due to the location in Derby, DE65.
• Previous food production experience would be advantageous.

Tuesday to Saturday | 6:00am – 3:00pm
