Part-Time HR Manager
Nottingham £50,000–£70,000 FTE

Looking for a part-time HR role where your experience can have a real impact? This is a hands-on opportunity to take the lead on day-to-day HR, support managers and help build the people practices a growing business need for its next stage.

You’ll have the scope to bring ideas, improve how things are done and see the results of your work. It’s a varied standalone position for an experienced HR Manager, HR Business Partner or senior generalist who enjoys taking ownership and providing practical support.

What you’ll be doing

• Be a trusted source of practical HR advice for managers and employees.
• Take ownership of employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance cases.
• Coach managers to build their confidence in handling people issues.
• Review and improve HR policies, procedures, contracts and employment documentation.
• Keep the business aligned with UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Manage day-to-day HR administration and maintain accurate employee records.
• Contribute to recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning as the business grows.
• Develop the people processes and HR foundations that will support the company’s future growth.

What you’ll bring

• Experience as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist.
• Strong employee relations knowledge and a practical approach to resolving issues.
• Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Confidence working independently and supporting managers at all levels.
• A proactive, hands-on and commercially aware approach.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and discretion with confidential matters.
