Document Controller

Location: Derby
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000

The Role

We are working with a leading main contractor who is looking for an organised and proactive Document Controller to join their team in Derby.

The successful candidate will manage project documentation, maintain accurate records and ensure information is distributed efficiently across the project team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project documentation using Viewpoint for Projects.

• Upload, track and distribute drawings, technical documents and project information.

• Maintain document registers and ensure the latest revisions are available to the project team.

• Support compliance with ISO 19650 standards and information management procedures.

• Liaise with project teams, subcontractors and consultants to resolve document control queries.

• Troubleshoot issues and ensure the smooth running of document control processes.

Requirements

• Essential: Previous experience using Viewpoint for Projects.

• Good understanding of ISO 19650 and information management principles.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting.

• A good team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Reasonable salary expectations within the £35,000–£40,000 range.
