Are you a commercially minded analyst with a passion for turning data into meaningful business insight?
Our client is a highly successful, customer-focused business operating across a national portfolio of consumer-facing sites. They are looking for a Pricing Analyst to join their growing commercial insights team and play a key role in shaping pricing strategy, promotional activity, and commercial performance.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, influencing decision-making, and partnering with stakeholders across a business to drive profitable growth.
The Role
You will support the development and delivery of pricing recommendations across products and promotional activity. Using sales and market data, you will provide insight that helps drive revenue, margin, and customer engagement.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the development and implementation of pricing strategies and recommendations
• Analysing sales, volume, mix and margin performance to identify trends and opportunities
• Maintaining pricing models, reports and dashboards
• Evaluating the effectiveness of promotions and product launches
• Modelling future promotional activity and forecasting potential return on investment
• Monitoring competitor pricing and wider market trends
• Supporting pricing decisions for new business opportunities and launches
• Producing clear and actionable insight for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of pricing and commercial data
• Working closely with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Insight teams to support business performance

About You
We are looking for an analytical and commercially aware individual who can combine strong data skills with the ability to communicate insights effectively.
You will ideally have:

• Experience in pricing analysis, commercial analytics, business intelligence or a similar analytical role
• Strong experience working with large datasets and drawing meaningful conclusions
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence handling complex data
• Understanding of pricing principles and commercial performance measures
• Experience within hospitality, retail, leisure or another consumer-focused environment would be advantageous
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• A proactive and inquisitive approach with a genuine interest in commercial performance
